Award winning writer-director of Portuguese-Brazilian roots, Guilherme made his directorial debut in 2022 with the short film VORTEX, winner of the BEST PORTUGUESE SHORT AWARD at MOTELX. The film is still making its world festival circuit, having already been shown in Portugal, the USA, Spain, Finland, Germany and Hungary.
In 2020 he won a national script competition promoted by NETFLIX and the PORTUGUESE FILM INSTITUTE (ICA), with over 1200 entries, with his series FINISTERRA. This series is currently in pre-production by TAKE IT EASY FILMS with funding from RTP and ICA. He will shoot it later this year.
His first commercial in 2020, AMOR, was featured in SHOTS and ADS of the WORLD.
He studied Film Production at the UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER and took a Masters in Film Philosophy at KING’S COLLEG LONDON.
